Okay so in total honesty, this is what I was trying to avoid. Yes, The Pumpkin Café scratches that PSL itch, but you’ve also got haunted manors, salty witch covens, and smoky vampire vibes in the mix. Think “spooky season personality quiz” but in scent form. It would be criminal to not offer a pumpkin scent. The basic witches would have totally burned me at the stake if I decided against offering it!
Which one is your favorite?
Oof, this feels like choosing a favorite child! It's a toss-up between The Hearth and The Haunting. Fudge. I can't ignore how good The Manor is, too. Oh, shoot. The Bite is so seductive. I'm not going to be helpful here. My husband is obsessed with The Haunting and The Coven. I'm so sorry. I can't help you here.
Which scent do you think people will sleep on, but absolutely shouldn’t?
The Haunting, hands down. Everyone’s gonna sprint toward The Pumpkin Café (because PSL girlies, we know who we are), but The Haunting is low-key the star. Anthony and I created this scent together, keeping The Haunting of Hill House in our minds the entire time. The mystery of this stately home, the floorboards that creak, the sharp tang of blood and liquor... I'm so afraid people will pass this one up. It burns beautifully.
Can I burn these even if I haven’t read the books?
Absolutely, babe. No gatekeeping here. We waited to release this collection (along with its corresponding blog posts) until the feeling of autumn came around. The scents stand on their own — you’ll still get cozy café vibes, haunted house chills, or witchy magic without ever cracking a spine. But fair warning: you might add a few titles to your TBR once you sniff them.
